More Screenings for Broken Tail at Home and Abroad
Crossing the Line Films are delighted that Broken Tail will screen again on Irish television on Friday Jan 27th at 8pm on RTÉ 2. The film will also be shown at the renowned Santa Barbara International Film Festival on Jan 28th and 30th as well as at Thin Line Film Festival in Texas and Vancouver International Mountain Festival in February 2012.

With the assistance of Culture Ireland, Crossing the Line were also thrilled to bring Broken Tail to its first Indian audience at the CMS Vatavaran Environment & Wildlife Film Festival in Delhi. This is the leading festival of its kind in India, with over 20,000 delegates and it is the first time that an Irish film has been invited to screen. Crossing the Line hope to use it as an opportunity to showcase Irish film in India.
Responding to the event, film Producer and co-Director John Murray said “We are really excited about bringing Broken Tail to India for the first time. The film has screened across the world on channels such as BBC, PBS and CBC, but it has long been our hope to bring it to an Indian audience. We are really grateful to Culture Ireland for making this possible and we hope that this festival screening will help us secure a nationwide broadcast in India.”

Broken Tail was funded by the Irish Film Board & RTÉ, along with CBC, SWR, ZDF, ARTE, MEDIA, Nature for WNET, BBC.
